Zubal Books Web Site Ordering System Security
Order Information Transmission and Storage
All order information (including credit card information) is transmitted
using the Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL) built into our Web server
and your Internet browser. The SSL protocol encrypts (scrambles) and authenticates
(guarantees you're communicating with our server) all information sent
between your browser and our Web server. SSL is a secure transmission
protocol and is widely used throughout the Internet when secure communication
is necessary.
For your protection Zubal Books does not store credit card numbers in
the ordering system. As soon as an order has been completed, credit card
information is removed from the ordering system.
Your Account Information
By creating an account on Zubal Books, you elect to have your order billing
and shipping information stored for your future use on this site. In addition,
creating an account allows you to track your current and past orders.
All sections of this Web site that retrieve and display your account information,
do so using the SSL protocol. Credit card numbers are NOT stored with
your account information. Each new order will require a credit card to
be entered.
